I needed some good guidelines from a reputable source so that I am more informed about the Americans with Disabilities Act. Since 1990, there are regulations in place that businesses need to follow to be legally handicapped accessible. This story is about a legislator submitting a bill about disability rights. The legislator is trying to help the disabled and citizens who own businesses. This article showed me some of the red tape that can be involved, a lawyers view, and how hard it can be to get a bill passed. In using this website I was led to other websites with more information I can use. I was able to view measurement guidelines and get a good visual of how accessibility should look. I plan to use some of the information from this website for my essay paper.
